The wind clawed at Anya's cloak, threatening to rip it from her shoulders as she stood at the cliff's edge. Below, the valley stretched out like a wrinkled green carpet, stitched with silver threads of rivers. The air tasted of pine and distant rain. She gripped the hilt of her sword, the cold steel a comfort against her trembling hand. A shadow fell across her, and a voice, smooth as polished obsidian, echoed in the vast space. "Admiring your future kingdom, little hero?" Vorlag stepped into view. He was a giant of a man, clad in black armor that seemed to absorb the very light. His face, framed by long, silver hair, was etched with cruel amusement. **Vorlag gestures with his hand towards the valley below**. "Such potential, wasted on sentiment." Anya spat on the ground. "It will never be yours!" **Vorlag laughs**. His laughter bounced off the cliff face. "Brave words. But bravery is a poor substitute for power." **Vorlag uses magic to throw Anya off the cliff**. The ground rushed up to meet Anya.
