Setting & Costume Description Characters wear hanbok, traditional Korean clothing. Kongji wears a soft-colored hanbok (like light blue and white), showing her calm but strong nature. Patji wears a more vivid-colored hanbok (like red or pink), reflecting her bold and selfish personality at first. They live in a traditional Korean house (hanok) with wooden floors, paper windows, and a courtyard where most chores take place. Mountains and trees surround the peaceful countryside. 📝 Story Script Kongji lived with her stepmother and stepsister Patji in a beautiful hanok. Though she had to do many chores every day, she was not the type to stay silent anymore. Kongji (calm but firm): “This is a house we all live in. Shouldn’t we share the work too?” Her stepmother frowned and ignored her, but Kongji didn’t back down. One day, a grand village festival was announced. Everyone wanted to go. Stepmother: “You’re not going unless you finish scrubbing the yard and filling the water jars!” Kongji didn’t argue. She looked around and planned a way to finish quickly. With the help of birds and other kind creatures, she got everything done — clean and fast. She dressed herself neatly in her hanbok and was about to leave when she saw Patji crying. Patji (panicking): “I lost one of my shoes! I can’t go like this…” Kongji paused, then walked over. Kongji: “I’ll help you just this once. But from now on, you need to help me too.”

She offered her own shoe, and together, they went to the festival. Kongji’s confidence and kindness caught everyone’s eye. Patji began to see her sister differently. From that day on, the two sisters started working together — not out of fear or force, but because they chose to help each other. ✨ Message Kongji speaks her mind respectfully — she is kind, but strong. She doesn’t fight back with hate, but inspires change through her actions. Patji learns from Kongji, and the story ends with growth and harmony, not revenge.
